Can someone upload the example source code for download?

I don't think the book "licence" allows one to redistribute the example code. I don't have the book though, so I can't tell for sure. Maybe someone who has it might verify that.

Example source code of the previous edition is available at Trolltech's ftp. Aren't both editionss published under similar license?

Anyway I hope whoever has the example code has little less respect for license though :) The book is not available in my country, so I can't buy it anyway.

No. The Qt3 edition (the book) is available as a pdf for download, whereas the Qt4 edition is not, so there probably is a difference in licencing.

You should never say that as a programmer. If you ever want to sell the code you write, I'm sure you would be very interested in people respecting your licence. If you want people to respect your work, then respect the work of others.

You can take part in the QtCentre programming contest (http://contest.qtcentre.org). You might win the book ;)
