QTreeView CheckBox

I have created a tree with QTreeView + QStandardItemModel with checkboxes. I need to perform separate action on checkbox click and item click.
I am not able to identify difference between checkbox click and item click. Please suggest how to do that?

The click on the checkbox will result in a model update of the CheckStaterole and a click elsewhere will not. What are you trying to achieve?
