Hey community !

I'm posting there to ask for help for a project.

You can find it at https://github.com/movie-project/movie-project/

It's a movie organizer. You can think of iTunes or Amarok : it's the same idea but for movies.

It is and it will stay opensource (GPLv3 for now)

It is for you if:

You are looking for a project to train you Qt-style
You want to practize but you don't know what (even newbees !)
You are a senior coder and you want a cool project (we are looking for a mentor too)

On the main page you'll find some basic coding rules: it may evolve with remarks of the contributers.

We are really open minded, if you have ideas, and you can show they are good, you will be able to do it !

Have fun and see you soon !

Olivier
PS: You can send me a MP if you're interested

As a FOSS project you might be interested in this: https://community.kde.org/Incubator

Thx... I didn't know that. I also posted on the KDE mailing list, but no answer for now =D.

I've looked at it. I think it's maybe too soon. If I wrote here, it's to build a team. We are currently 2 contributers, but I'm student (so I've time) and the other works and doesn't have so much time. Therefore I've done much of the code. I'm looking for people who'd like to take part of the adventure.

The program can have a first release in a few time. But to make it really awsome we'll never be done =D

Cheers

One of the developer lists?
kde-devel or kde-multimedia?

KDE@mail.... I didn't know which one to use, so i took the most generic.

On which one do you think i should write?

Thx

For general development questions I would suggest kde-devel.

The "kde" one is a user support list and has fewer developers subscribed than the developer lists.
