play mp3 without phonon (qt 4.8)

I just need to play simple audio wav or mp3 file from QT 4.8 on Raspberry Pi.(cross compile)

There are plenty of multimedia frameworks available aside from Phonon.
Usually not with such a nice Qt AP.

You can also call a non-gui player via QProcess.
