This should be easy. I've searched the web and only found links to documentation about it.

Downloaded and installed 5.4.2 opensource on a Ubuntu 12.4.5 machine. This was a fresh install without updates. Tried to build and run the Webchannel example and it dies not being able to find qwebchannel.js (or something close to that). File is no where on disk. I have found many questions looking for this file but nobody has posted a link of __where__ to obtain it. Many links to documentation about the example and the file, but no link to download.

Would appreciate being able to find this file.

Thanks,

If one uses enough search engines they can eventually come across someting useful. Too bad so many posts were of no use. For some reason the example _assumes_ one built from source. The required javascript file is in the source tree.

Hope this helps someone else. I found an awful lot of people asking for this with the search engines.
