MP3 capabilities in QT

I understand that currently QT does not support a cross platform MP3-library.

Is this something that is concidered for a future release of QT?

What existing librarys could I use to play MP3 audio cross platform that would work well with QT?

Hmm... I think QT might be supporting MP3... Of course this is not the case with Qt ;)

As for a portable solution - you might try LAME or some library mplayer uses.

now Qt comes with a phonon framework, which is specially made to support multimedia options.

easy to implement n understand n great features it has.
