Automation Test Engineer – The Hague, NL (medior/senior)
For a company in the High-Tech medical industry in The Hague area, we are looking for an Automation Test Engineer, with at least 3 years experience. The company is a market leading developer of eye diagnosis solutions. Within the company you will be part of the full testing cycle. This includes manual testing, automated testing as well as QA responsibilities. The main focus however is on the atomization of the testing procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Review of software requirements
• Be part of the development cycle
• Testing
• Continuous review, testing and filing defects during sprints
• Execution of the V&V Model, including:
o Write and delivery of test plans
o Write and execute test cases
o Report defects
o Retest defects
o Write and deliver test and release reports
• Writing, executing and maintaining automated test scripts in Squish with Python
• Updating, executing and maintaining manual test scripts
Profile:
• Result orientated
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Organized and sceptical
• Able to differentiate between the developer’s and tester’s mindset
• Dedicated to delivering results in timely manner Able to work independently, under general supervision and as a part of a team, on several concurrent tasks with changing priorities
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
Educational Level:
Bachelor (BSc) or Masters degree (MSc) with a focus on Computer Engineer, Software development or related field.
Hard Criteria:
• 3+ years of experience as tester
• Python
• Experienced in creating test plans.
• Experienced as both Automated and Manual tester
Preferred Criteria:
• C++
• Git
• Squish for Qt
• Agile/Scrum experience
Personal Skills:
• Problem solver
• Strong analytical skills
Salary indication is based on experience (€3000 - €4000 gross per month).
