create a start button that launches my main.cpp

hello guys, how can i create a start button that launches my main.cpp when pressed, and if it's pressed again, it resets everything and launches again.

any idea?

Are we talking two completely separate programs, one started by the other, or one program where a UI is "launched" and "relaunched"?
