I am looking for a program other than kdesu and gksu (when no KDE and GNOME libraries are available) to run administrative X applications as root. (Yes yes I know the implications but this is a partition editor.) I found this page (http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/reference/ch-tune.en.html#s-ss-xsu) which lists xsu and sux but I don't know which of the two is better == safer.

Please can anyone recommend which is better? xsu or sux or something else?
