Error with BluetoothChat

Hello!

I am trying to make work this example http://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qtbluetooth-btchat-example.html. It is very important for me.
As I understand these kind of programs: there are client and server and for working application so I must run both on two different devices. I did it. I complied and run on my laptop with external bluetooth-module and then I did the same to my Android-device (also I tried on another PC with Bt) and then after all of that I push the button connect on both devices and .. in vain.
They cannot find each other and I can't make it work. Bluetooth, which I use is 100%-workable.

If anyone can help please, what seems to be the problem here ?

I tried the same with macos and ios - without success.
Have you fixed this in the meantime ?

I´m using qt 5.7.1 under mac

Yes, I run it on Windows-platform and it all worked well.
Are you sure that what you are trying to do is in principle possible?
Because as I remember from my iPhone it is always a problem with bluetooth on apple-devices...

The app is running on the phone - but the app´s do not connect to each other.

Did you only start the app on two different devices (phone & dektop ) and it worked ?
