QT Virtual Keyboard

I tried to use the QT Quick virtual keyboard example in Linux. It works well in Windows; but in Linux the key presses are not populated to the Text Edit. On logging; I found "input method is not set". Not sure what should be done

Have same bug which happen accidentally: virtual keyboard worked fine and then I started to get these errors:

input method is not set How to fix?!
