Hello,

How is Qt Centre different from the Qt-Interest mailing list? I like the format of QtCentre better than a mailing list -- the obvious difference. However, is there a reason that this forum and the Trolltech mailing list don't join forces? Just curious :).

Finally, is the Qt Forum considered deprecated?

Thanks,
Ben

qt-interest is an official mailing list run by Trolltech, while Qt Centre is a community-run site. So far we have a forum, news and links sections, but in future we will also have a wiki.

Some old-timers prefer mailing lists and would never use a forum for religious reasons. ;)

Qt Centre was created to replace the QtForum. You can read more about it here (http://www.qtcentre.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&Itemid=2).

Thank you.

For some reason, I hadn't run across Qt Centre. I only have a cursory knowledge of Qt (albeit an extensive background in GUI/graphics development). QtForum seemed a bit odd ... not supported very well ... inactive.

No wonder, this site is only one month old.
