mousemoveevent on desktop

is there any possibility to get mouseMoveEvents even the cursor is over the desktop or over another window?

...that depends...

You could grab the mouse, but that's going to 'lock' the mouse to your window until you release it. It's probably not what you want to do.

In Windows, you can install a 'hook' to do this, but it's also frowned upon.

I'm curious why your app needs this...
