Default Impossible to drag and drop the menu entry.

In the last version of QtDesigner 4.7 (and consequently in qt-creator ) under X11 (Linux) it's impossible to drag and drop the menu entry of the main menu (in the menu bar). (Under windows it works correctly).
There exits a solution for this problem?

It seems to be a bug.

    Works fine for me.

If it was a bug then it wouldn't be working for me. It's likely some misconfiguration on your system. Or maybe I'm just trying to reproduce the problem incorrectly. Try providing more information on what you mean.

    I mean this:
    http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.7/designer...g-a-menu-entry

Just like with menus, entries can be moved around simply by dragging and dropping them in the preferred location. When an entry is dragged over a closed menu, the menu will open to allow it to be inserted there. Since menu entries are based on actions, they can also be dropped onto toolbars, where they will be displayed as toolbar buttons.
    I'm using Xorg 1.9 on a x86_64 Linux distro.
I've also tried with a new and empty project.

The drag & drop doesn't work!
For me it's impossible to move an entry in the menu, for example moving the second item before the first one, and it's also impossible to move an entire menu in the menu bar.

Please be more specific. I've tried it and it seems to work for me also.

You say X11/Linux - so, your not using a window manager? If you are, you need to state this, and anything else that may conflict.

"It doesn't work" is a not a bug report.

I've never done a bug report in a forum like this one.

Probably is better to move the problem on this website:

It's very unlikely this is a bug in Qt so if you start the discussion there then you will probably only receive an answer that they are not able to reproduce it and you won't make any progress.

    Ok
I've tried the pre-compiled package of the ditro.
I've tried the pre-compiled binary from nokia: http://qt.nokia.com/downloads/qt-cre...nux-x11-64-bit
I've deleted the configurations files in the directory ~/.config/Nokia/

And it has never worked correctly.

What's the problem? Some mysterious configuration file?

As we already said, the problem is probably not with Qt so changing Qt installations won't do anything. Your X might be misconfigured or the window manager might be preventing the drags from happening.

Normally I use KDE and the drag & drop works fine everywhere, also in qtcreator (with the exception in the menu editor).
I've also tried with e16 WM and don't work.

I've also completely cancelled (renamed) my xorg.conf ... and nothing is changed.

    Added after 15 minutes:

    As a conclusion ....
It seems to be a problem of Oxygen, in fact if I try to change the style in kde (like plastik, gtk+ ... ) it works.

I remember having a similar problem a couple of years ago but I can't remember if I did something to solve it or maybe it went away on its own with one of the system updates. Do drag&drop examples that come with this particular version of Qt work correctly?

I've submitted a bug report to an Oxygen developer, and he has fixed the problem immediately.

Probably the fix will de released with the next version of kde.

    Tnx.
