Impossible to build Qt with Gif support.

Hi there !

I'm trying to install Qt 3.3.3 with gfi support but it fails ... probably due to a licence problem.

Does anybody had the same problem and found a solution to this problem ? How do I get the licence ? Must I pay for it ?

How does it "fail"?

Is this Qt/X11? Building from sources? If so try -qt-gif.

Hasn't that gif license expired already?

I think there are still issues around GIF patents, not ncessarily in the United Sates and not necessarily with Unisys.
