Linking problem on Mac os x 10.4

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone of you had this kind of problem while linking your application on mac 10.4:
" ld -L : directory name missing"

I have read somewhere that "some versions of ld may show this kind of error while other do not", but do not know how to fix this.
