QSortfilterProxyModel and Treeview

Hey folks!
ive got a little problem concerning the sortfilter-proxymodel and the views i am using. im having a view with all the "real" data inside and another view, which is supposed to display only the data which is dropped into the view. if i want to drag and drop a sub-item into the view (and so display only the subitem with its subitems), its parent item is shown as well. is it possible to make the proxymodel displaying only the items(and subitems) really dropped into?
