QComboBox drop-down closes immediately without changing the selection/index

Hi,

I am using a QComboBox with some item entries to it, if i click on the drop down button, the combo-box drops down and closes immediately without allowing me to select any item. To change the item in the combo-box, i need to click and hold the click to change the selection/index.

What can be the problem on this...???
And how this can be corrected...???

I am using Qt-Embedded 4.5.3 on a linux platform.
