qtsdk installtion works,but nothing comes like qtcreator-urgent

I am trying to install qtcreator on LINUX-suse-11.2 ,newly installed on my PC. I am running the ./qtsdk-2010-***.bin file as a super user. And the insalltion gets successfull too,up to the end. it also telling creating icon on dekstop and menu entry.But i cant see.

when i try to open any project file,it is not recognizing the qt project file. And there is nothing like qtcreator in my pc.
what can be the issue?please reply.

may be qt crater has not been installed properly.
did u give change the permissions before installing:
chmod u+x qt-sdk-linux-x86_64-opensource-2010.04.bin

try for bin in the installed qt directory

or download a qt creator for Linux and install and check it.

test programs and see if they compile
