Qt 4.7.0 compiles all tools and examples, but they all crash on running

Greetings,
I compiled Qt 4.7.0 from scratch on a macbook pro core i7 running OSX 10.6.4 using gcc version 4.2.1 (Apple Inc. build 5664) using ./configure -debug-and-release -no-qt3support -arch x86_64. Everything compiles fine, but when I try to run some of the tools (Designer, Assistant, Linguist, etc.) they immediately crash with:

The same thing happens when I try to run any of the examples. Any thoughts would be appreciated. A partial report is included below. Thanks!
