Plugin in Photoshop/ArchiCAD doesn't block the menu/other windows

Hi,

I have an application modal plugin which works in Photoshop and ArchiCAD ( Mac/Win ).
Everything works fine except the followings. The application menus doesn't get grayed.

For example when I select the Quit menu while my plugin's window displayed nothing happens until I close my plugin window. As soon as I close the plugin's window the Quit takes place and the host application quits.

Is there a way to disable the whole menu/application windows until my plugin window is alive?

Do you set the 'AA_MacPluginApplication' (on Mac) or use QMfcApp::pluginInstance (for windows) ?
