Change functionality of Symbian Touch Key/Button

Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on a Timer Application and i want to make use of that button to change the Options of the Timer forexample what Signal is started once the Timer runs out like Vibrating or making a Sound. So my question is is it possible to make a drop down menu appear once u click this button to choose the options?
