installation error on suse-linux

Hi there.

I want to use QT on suse-linux 9.2 professional.

For this error code below, installation failed.

Basic XLib functionality test failed!
You might need to modify the include and library search paths by editing
QMAKE_INCDIR_X11 and QMAKE_LIBDIR_X11 in /home/QT/qt-everywhere-opensource-src-4.8.4/mkspecs/linux-g++.

The thing is, I cannot upgrade my linux version.
Is there any ways to install xlib on version 9.2 to work QT?

i am also getting same error while compile Qt-5.1.0 source code

Install the Qt prerequisite development modules using whatever package manager Suse provides (YaST or rpm). If there are no up-to-date packages for your ancient Suse then you have no options other than to build the pre-requisites yourself.
