Reading from console using Qt 3.3.4

I want to read the console statements ( i.e. both cout and printf staements ) as soon as it is printed in console using Qt 3.3.4.
Coud you suggest me how to do it?

Add CONFIG+=console to your project file and rerun qmake. This might help
