QtCreator - how to temporarily hide all windows except editor window?

Similar question was asked almost 9 years ago, in the (almost) forgotten age of TrollTech.

In essence I have editor window where I type stuff and several open views (sidebar, mode, output panes etc). I want to press some key combination and get into full screen mode where only editor is visible. Then press the same combination again and previous window setup is restored.

Perhaps solution was found and I missed it?

You can click the "Split" icon to open the file in a separate window and then maximize it. Alternatively it should be pretty straightforward to implement a plugin for Qt Creator which does what you want.
