Validating IP address [SOLVED]

How can I validate an IP address in lineEdit class instance?
i have used the inputMask property, but it can validate only numbers[in this particular case]. :(

I went thro the documentation, but no use :|

im using Qt 4.2.2 from Windows. anyone got any clue?
