how to configure LAN in Qtopia.

hi,

i had compiled and ported Qtopia on to MIPS processor. Now i need to configure LAN settings manually. i tried that but after i enter the IP addess ,gateway,subnetmask, it says the following error:

"The file /etc/pcmicia/network.opts does not exits.Please restore the file".

i have a ethernet Jack on the board and i had setup the ip address using ifconfig. Does configuring the LAN requires PCMCIA cards ?


can anyone provide me suggestions or solutions as how to configure the LAN settings ina Qtopia ?
