How to install 4.8 on CentOS 6
Hi All,
I have to install 4.8 on CentOS and I downloaded qt-everywhere-src-4.8.5.
Next step is ./configure which works right - or at least does something.
After typing "make" I just get: "make: Nothing to be done for `first'."
I also tried "make clean" first but it does no difference.
Any suggestion whats going on?
Markus

The easiest way is to install pre-built RPMs by Rex Dieter of Fedora KDE SIG.
You need to add EPEL & 'kde' repos and then use yum to update qt (and KDE, if you wish).
