how to copy part of QString to anothe QString

hello everyone,
this may sound somewhat stupid,
but how do we copy part of QString to another QString???
i'm hopefully way too tired and not getting this ... it's bound to be trivial
nass

QString::left()
QString::mid()
QString::right()
;-)
