use qt for oscilloscope

Now,i want to use qt-embedded-4.4 on arm to produce a oscilloscope.But i'm a newer and i don't to know how to start it.How to use some class of qt to display data and how to design the screen? I even don't know how to design the main area that display data and other information.

Qwt (http://qwt.sourceforge.net/index.html) might be very handy for you. The class QwtPlot looks interesting.
