password for 'root' account in Greenphone

Hi everyone,
I installed the Greenphone SDK 4.3.2 in Windows XP.I am able to run the example application on the emulator but, when I connect the Greenphone via USB and try to install the application in the device,I am asked for a password.
It goes something like this(you get three attempts for the password)--
root@10.10.10.20's password:
...
after three attempts,it shows-
Connection to Greenphone at 10.10.10.20 failed
FAILED.

I went through the 'qtextended' forum and found a couple of related threads but couldn't figure out much from them.So,I would appreciate it if someone could give me the precise steps for getting past this issue.
Till now I have tried the passwords root,user and <blank> but ,no success.
Please advice on how to proceed.
