    Default QImageReader with Qt::FastTransformation???

    hi all!

    i'm using a QImageReader to read (a bunch of) images from disk to QImages, thereby scaling down to thumbnails. this is pretty slow. the docs say:

    'By default (i.e., if the image format does not support scaling), QImageReader will use QImage::scale() with Qt::SmoothScaling.' [should be :'use QImage::scaled() with Qt::SmoothTransformation', i think...]

    is there no way to tell the reader to use Qt::FastTransformation ???

    thanks,

    sepp

    Not likely. You can always load the images by using QImage::load() and scale them afterwards.
