qt3 to qt4 in centOS5?

hi,
im trying to upgrade my qt3 to qt4 what steps should i do?
qt3 in centos is built-in..

what do i need to download, in qtcentre home page there is 3.3.8 and 4.4.0 (which one)

then after downloading what steps should i do??

You want to upgrade from Qt3 to Qt4 and you're asking which one you should download?

then after downloading what steps should i do??

Read carefully the installation instructions shipped together with the package you downloaded.

yeii stupid question..

the manual is for installation only. (easy part)
my problem is using qt4 to kdevelop cause the kdevelop3 uses qt3 library.
im setting up QTDIR and PATH but its not working.. kdevelop still uses qt3 library
