Change Application Icon

hi! i'm using qt 3.3 in linux and i want to change my application icon. i have tried to use the IDI_ICON1 ICON DISCARDABLE "icon.ico" place in rc file but is not working. I use that code in windows. is there anybody here know how to do it in linux? thnx..
