Default How avoid translation of dynamic properties

    Hi folks,

got the problem that the Qt translation mechanism tries to translate more than I want it to do. In the designer I've assigned many dynamic properties of string type to widgets. The tool lupdate extracts these and includes them into the ts-file for translation. Now our translator doesn't always know whether to translate the content or not. Sometimes it is very important that these strings won't be translated. So how can I avoid these strings from being added to the ts-file?

Any other idea as a work around is welcome.

    Cheers
    Thomas

lupdate only extracts strings marked with QT_TR_NOOP, QT_TRANSLATE_NOOP or tr(). If you have some strings that you use only internally, simply don't mark them.
