Nokia now charges for Qt runtime fees?

Seems you need to pay only if you deploy a GUI on an embedded device. Seems strange, anyway...

You don't have to worry about it if you are using open source edition of Qt, because these fees apply only under Qt Commercial Lincense.

There is no runtime royalties for desktop deployments, only for embedded. It has always been this way, nothing has changed except that Nokia is in the middle or reorganizing the webpage. Contact Nokia Qt Software sales for more information.
