    Question serial port programming

    hello everyone,
    I am new to Qt can you tell me how to do serial port programming in Qt.
    Means how to open serial port ,read the port,close the port etc.
    I am using Qt version 4.3.......on Unix platform..
    Will u give me any hint or any clue for that......or any APIs
