.Gif Image????

hi all,
i have loaded the .gif image in a widget but image is not showing animation as expected. it is loading like any normal image and not showing amimation...how to show its animation...
i used the following code:

void Widget:aintEvent( QPaintEvent *event)
{
QImage image_Loading(":/images/Loading.gif");
QPainter painter(this);
painter.drawImage(QPoint(10, 10), image_Loading);
}
