After uninstalling Qt4.5 / Windoze / opensource and reinstalling a few times, now there is no Qt help documentation available from within Qt Creator.
Windows XP Pro + SP3 / qt-sdk-win-opensource-2009.02.exe
Steps to repro:
1) Uninstall current Qt SDK installation: either through Start menu | Programs | Qt SDK | Uninstall... or, Control Panel | Add or remove programs | Qt SDK 2009.02...
2) In Windows Explorer, delete "C:\Qt" and any sub-folders
3) Launch qt-sdk-win-opensource-2009.02.exe, all default settings except install path is changed to simply "C:\Qt" and Program Menu is "Qt SDK"
4) At end of installation, automatically launch Qt Creator
5) Click "Getting Started >>" button or Help 'book' icon
Result: blank help - all panels are empty
I can see that in spite of a complete 'uninstall', new installations list 'recent' projects, so there's undoubtedly info still in the windows registry. Something must be corrupted somewhere... What to do?
