    Default Qt port for Lucene

    Hi,

I've been hearing of lucene for a long time, and I've been planning to use it in one of my apps in near future.

I have a few questions regarding this:

    • Is clucene compatible across multiple platforms?
    • Is there any port of lucene to Qt?
    • Can clucene be used directly from within a Qt app (disregarding any cross-platform issues, as may be the case)?

I've come across cluceneqt at http://www.voltix.com/cluceneqt.htm, but its licensing terms are rather strange. I've posted for help regarding the licensing terms at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1...lucene-license.

Could anyone answer a few of these question?

    Thanks

Default Re: Qt port for Lucene

Qt uses clucene itself for searching the documentation so I'm assuming you can use it from within Qt apps.
Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.
