    Default unableto run a WMIC command

    Dear all,

    I am trying to running a WMIC commands for example WMIC BIOS Get Manufacturer
    using QProcess.

    I am getting timeout error(error no 2) from the QProcess class.

    but from the command line, i am able to execute the same query.

    anyone help me pls.

    I am using Qt4.5.2 in Windows XP.

    Maybe you need to run it through command.com?
