Blank screen when playing video with Phonon

I get a black screen when I try to play video files with phonon. And when I try to debug Visual Studio crashes out with Protection Error: Debugger detected - please close it down and restart!.

So, how do you recommend debugging Phonon problems?

In case it helps I noticed these warnings when starting my app:

• Qt: Could not initialize OLE (error 80010106)
• WARNING: Phonon::createPath: Cannot connect Phonon::MediaObject ( no objectName ) to Phonon::AudioOutput ( no objectName ).

It might be caused by some hook that has something to do with Nero cd burning tools. Just uninstall it.

In my case, uninstalling helped.
