Default Is there a repository of widgets?

Is there a repository of widgets people have written but which don't
figure in the designer list yet?

I am looking for a widget which would allow me to draw, like an empty
(white) bitmap with the possibility to associated mouse/keyboard events
to what is displayed in this bitmap, and to record it in a file (not the
resulting bitmap, the whole sequence of mouse/keyboard events)
