    How did you install QT?

For Windows Nokia/Trolltech have supplied a prebuilt binary on their download page
    http://qt.nokia.com/downloads/sdk-windows-cpp
Just download this to somewhere and doubleclick the resulting installer icon.
The installer should take care of all the configuration.
