    Default QStandarItemModel and span

I 'm using QT4.1.4 and I want to make a resrevation plan with QTableWidget.
in this plan I have to insert a same widget in multiple cells by using setCellWidget()
    function.
the problem with this function is that it insert one widget in only one cell, however I want to
insert the same widget in multiple cells.
I find some solution Like subclassing QStandardItemModel and reimplementing span function.

is there any one who has done this and can explain the mecanism to me ?
    thank you in advance

    Default Re: QStandarItemModel and span

span() doesn't do anything yet, it's reserved for future use. In current state (Qt 4.1) multicell items are not supported.
