Default Key sequence to start new line in editor

    All,

Does anyone know if there is a key sequence that will start a new line, even if the cursor is in the middle of a line of code?

Enter or Shift+Enter? But I guess you mean a key that leaves the current line as it is and start a new line at the end of that row. I don't know one, because it is easy to achieve: End+Return. But you can define your own, and use QTextCursor to do so.
