Browse files dialog not showing

hi,
I just want to ask a question about Qt Creator 2.0 running on windows 7 x64...

when I click the browse button or Open Project/Files button in Qt Creator, the dialog is not showing...
I wonder if anyone have the same issue?

I'm having the same problem (no file browser dialog on Win7 x64 with QtCreator 2.0.0). I've been scouring the Qt Jira, google, etc. trying to find something about this. This thread is the first mention I've seen. Anyone have any info? Apologies if I *have* missed info somewhere.

I installed qt creator 2.0 on my another win 7 x64 machine... and guess what, the browse file dialog is showing when i clicked open file/project...
strange isn't it..
anyone have same experience?
any help will be appreciated

Try to uninstall Qt, delete the folder and reinstall Qt SDK (or you are having trouble with the Creator you build?)

I also use Win 7 x64, and i don't have any issue with Qt Creator 2 (the one from the open source Qt SDK)

I'm having the same issue, but it's not just with QT Creator, the problem is even in the examples, like the "image viewer", it has an "open file" dialog and the dialog doesn't show.
None of the file dialogs in the QT examples or the QTCreator itself don't work.
Also noticed that with Windows XP or Ubuntu, everything works fine...

Already tried unnistalling, removing "garbage", reinstalling... several times

Could it be an issue with something we changed in windows like a service or anything else?



I'm using Windows 7 Professional x64, QT4.6.3, QTCreator 2.0.0

Hello :-)

I'm using Windows 7 Professional x64, with Qt SDK by Nokia v2010.04 (Qt Creator 2.0.0, Qt 4.7.0 (32bits))
I have the same problems with QTCreator and the QT Example: it's impossible to use files dialog (Open, Save, ..., etc).
I'm using drag&drop to open .pro files (and load the project) but it's not an easy solution.

erratum: Work with QtCreator 2.0.1 (under Windows 7 x64)
=> A good solution is just updating QtCreator

Yeah that did the trick for QTCreator, but not for the examples and everything else, still not showing file dialogs
