I have successfully created the plugin - however, whenever I try to connect to my MySQL db, the runtime debugger will say 'QSqlDatabase: QMYSQL driver not loaded'
What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

are you sure, that the plugin is at a place, where your application can find it?
