Blank space at right side of plot

See attached screenshot with blank space on the RHS of the main plot.

This seems to be related to the majorTicks interval but not sure. I would love to get rid of it, since it is not always there and when scolling a plot it makes the experience a bit jerky.

I saw some past posts about setExtent which I tried to play with, but didn't really understand what it was doing.

Can anyone tell me how to ensure the plot does not contain this blank space?

Should be a bug in a previous version of Qwt, that you need because of the 8y axes patch.

After re-applying the 8 axis patch to the latest from svn the blank space remained.

I needed to add
plotLayout()->setAlignCanvasToScales(true);

and the blank space disappeared.
