    Default signal -slot mechanism

I have made a "connection" in a function............. now the slot which calls the function uses the local variable of the function in which connection has been made........ what should I do to be able to use the local variable in the SLOT function? It would be better if you would explain with an example(note that the local variable neccessarily needs to be the local variable of the function in which it is present )??
    Thanx in advance......

Wouldn't it better if you explained your problem with some code lines ?
Its hard to grasp from the writing alone

I don't understand what you mean. Can you explain more clearly?
